Mark is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Acoda Corp. Acoda Corp is a niche buyer focused Merger & Acquisitions company. Prior to Acoda, Mark was a VP a Gottesman Company. He sourced deals in a wide variety of industries from Technology to Manufacturing to Specialty construction.

Mark has worked in capital markets for over 35 years. He began as trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. As commodity and futures trader, he traded many markets from equity futures, crude oil, foreign exchange, bonds and notes, lumber and metals. As a proprietary trader, he previously held the Series 7,63,55 and 3. He worked as an Associate with CK & Associates in origination and due diligence. Mark has worked in the full spectrum of the business life cycle from raising startup capital on the angel side to rollups to reverse mergers for public companies.

Mark is a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology, (now Illinois Technology) where he received a M.S. in Financial Markets and Trading. He earned his B.A. from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He earned his commercial pilot license and certified flight instructor rating at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. He has completed 33 marathons in 27 states. His novel, "The Academy" was published by Creative Arts Books.
